Highland Park won the last time they faced Deerfield and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Highland Park Giants snuck past the Deerfield Warriors with a 43-37 victory. Given the Giants' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Warriors are ranked 468th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
