Recap: Julian Eagles vs. Warner Wildcats

The Julian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Warner at home by a decisive 55-41 margin. Julian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Warner apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Warner got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was David Calac out in front who scored 13 points along with six steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Anthony Porras , who scored 13 points along with eight steals and five rebounds.

Julian has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Warner, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Julian will be playing at home against West Shores at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Shores is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Warner, they will head out on the road to face off against Borrego Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Borrego Springs is ranked 1318th, while Warner is ranked 1327th).
