Baseball Recap: Carencro Comes Up Short

Carencro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the Rayne Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-8 last Thursday.

Carencro saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Burrows, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Cameron Boudreaux also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Carencro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Rayne, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

While Carencro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
