Baseball Game Preview: Wilmot Panthers vs. Burlington Demons

Wilmot is 1-9 against Burlington since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will host the Demons at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wilmot is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They lost 12-1 to Kettle Moraine Lutheran. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since April 5th.

Wilmot saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Watson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Watson has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Burlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Muskego, falling 10-3.

Jack Sagedal was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wilmot, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
