Softball Game Preview: Parkview Vikings vs. Deerfield Demons

Parkview is 0-10 against Deerfield since April of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Vikings will host the Demons at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Parkview came up short against Johnson Creek on Monday, falling 17-1.

Parkview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mylee Sorg, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Sorg has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Deerfield fell victim to Marshall and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Demons have suffered since June 5, 2025.

Deerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Parkview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
