Football Recap: Fayette County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fayette County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-10. They had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Trinity Christian Lions. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 357th, while the Lions are ranked 144th).

As for Trinity Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6. Considering they have won three contests by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ashton Clare was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 183 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Fayette County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lovett at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th.
