Basketball Game Preview: Pangburn Tigers vs. Maumelle Charter Falcons

The Pangburn Tigers and the Maumelle Charter Falcons will compete for holiday cheer at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Pangburn came up short against Rose Bud and fell 64-52. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Ramblers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Maumelle Charter lost 66-44 to Bald Knob on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 70th).

Pangburn's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Maumelle Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Pangburn came out on top in a nail-biter against Maumelle Charter in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, sneaking past 88-85. Will Pangburn repeat their success, or does Maumelle Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
