Baseball Game Preview: Huss Huskies vs. North Gaston Wildcats

Huss is 0-10 against North Gaston since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Huskies will host the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Huss has given up an average of 13.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Huss is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game on Monday. They came up short against North Gaston, falling 28-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Huskies couldn't push the score so high this time.

For North Gaston's part, Caleb Cloninger looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).

Huss' loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for North Gaston, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.
