Soccer Recap: Rockford East Comes Up Short

Rockford East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Belvidere North Blue Thunder, falling 9-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rockford East of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Rockford East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Belvidere North, their win bumped their record up to 7-0-2.

Coming up, Rockford East will be playing in front of their home fans against Harvard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Belvidere North, they will venture away from home to take on Sycamore at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
