Soccer Recap: Altus Comes Up Short

Altus lost to MacArthur back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 7-0 to the Highlanders. While losing is never fun, Altus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while MacArthur are ranked 34th).

Altus now has a losing record of 4-5. As for MacArthur, they moved to 5-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Altus wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Noble on the 7th. As for MacArthur, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Southeast on the 7th.
