Flag Football Recap: Plainfield South Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Plainfield South can now relate to. They received a blow on Monday as they fell 40-26 to the Kankakee Kays. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

London Stroud had another great game (as she tends to do), rushing for 222 yards and three TDs on only ten carries, while also throwing for 181 yards and one touchdown on only 11 passes for Kankakee. Stroud's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.

Plainfield South's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Kankakee, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Plainfield South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kankakee, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-13 defeat against Yorkville on the 7th.
