Lafayette Central Catholic lost against Peru back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lafayette Central Catholic Knights lost 75-53 to the Peru Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since December 3, 2024.

Lafayette Central Catholic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ray Clayton, who posted 13 points. Clayton has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chase Siemers, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 10 points and six rebounds.

Peru's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavin Eldridge, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 assists. Landen Crowe was another key player, as he made all 6 shots he took for 15 points and five assists.
