            Basketball Recap: Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams vs. Pyramid Lake Lakers        
        
		
        
        
            Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a   75-15 loss at the hands of the Pyramid Lake Lakers. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings  (they are ranked 106th, while the Lakers are ranked 18th).
 Leading Pyramid Lake to victory were  Lorena Eben and  Kaitlin Mandell.  Eben  dropped  a double-double on 15  points and 13  rebounds, while  Mandell  posted five points in addition to ten  assists, eight  steals,  and seven  boards. Mandell has been hot, having  posted two or more  steals the last five times she's  played.  Olivia Lara was another key player,  putting up ten  points and five  rebounds.
Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Pyramid Lake, their victory was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 18-5.
 Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage is taking a road trip to  challenge Smith Valley  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Smith Valley will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pyramid Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  61-17  victory against Sage Ridge on the 1st.
