It was a good run, but Thales Academy Apex unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion by a score of 40-37. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lion earlier this season, when they won 66-48.

When it comes to explaining why Thales Academy Apex lost, don't look at Zach Rachmuth. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 10 en route to 18 points along with eight boards and three steals. Rachmuth is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played.
