Softball Recap: Killingly Comes Up Short

Killingly lost to Montville back in April of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trailblazers fell 6-2 to the Wolves. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Killingly saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Violet Schaefer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Killingly's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Montville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Looking ahead, Killingly will face off against Plainfield at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Montville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
