Basketball Recap: Meskwaki Settlement Comes Up Short

Meskwaki Settlement was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the BCLUW Comets, falling 61-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-32 back in December of 2024.

Meskwaki Settlement's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for BCLUW, with the victory, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

Meskwaki Settlement will challenge South Tama County on Monday. BCLUW has already played their next game, a 74-40 defeat against Baxter on the 24th.
