It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri-County North can now relate to. They fell just short of the Fort Recovery Indians by a score of 10-9 on Wednesday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Bella Cherry was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Gracie Hemp, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Tri-County North's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Fort Recovery, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

Tri-County North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Recovery, they have already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Riverside on the 23rd.
