Baseball Recap: Lavaca Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lavaca, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let the Mountainburg Dragons get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Golden Arrows have won three games by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lavaca's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mountainburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
