Crenshaw is a perfect 4-0 against Hawkins since August of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Hawks at 2:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Crenshaw put up the most points they have all season on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dymally 34-6. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Challengers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Crenshaw's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rashi Avery-Smith led the charge by rushing for 115 yards and one score on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 58 yards. Another back making a difference was Ahmani Bell, who gained 108 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Crenshaw was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 292 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Crenshaw didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nevaeh Bell, Taliyah Sugar, and Za'Karia Wade picked up one apiece. Sugar got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hawkins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let Jordan get on the board and left with a 63-0 victory on Monday. The matchup marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Crenshaw's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Hawkins, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Crenshaw strolled past Hawkins when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 24-6. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
