Volleyball Recap: Los Angeles Leadership Academy Has No Trouble Against Aspire Ollin

It was a proper cat-fight when Los Angeles Leadership Academy challenged Aspire Ollin on Friday. The Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions put the hurt on the Aspire Ollin Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-17.

Marcos Baltazar paced Los Angeles Leadership Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Baltazar got some help from Daniel Duarte and his 17 assists. Baltazar was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Aspire Ollin, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Smidt Tech on the 10th. As for Aspire Ollin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Animo Bunche on the 10th.
