Norborne triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Braydon Cook

Recap: Norborne Pirates vs. Breckenridge Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hardin-Central, the Norborne Pirates were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They came out on top against Breckenridge by a score of 39-26. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Norborne also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Norborne can attribute much of their success to Braydon Cook, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zach Deitch, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
The victory got Norborne back to even at 1-1. As for Breckenridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Norborne will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hale/Bosworth at 7:00 p.m. As for Breckenridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
