Volleyball Recap: Scarlett Wilson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Spanaway Lake over Puyallup + How To Watch

Spanaway Lake lost against Puyallup back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sentinels came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0.

Spanaway Lake took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 27-25.

Spanaway Lake lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Scarlett Wilson, who had eight digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Keileana Sablan-Douglas, who had 13 digs.

Spanaway Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Puyallup, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spanaway Lake is set to take on their familiar foe Rogers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Puyallup will challenge rival South Kitsap at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
