Baseball Game Preview: Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors vs. Sunapee Lakers

Wilton-Lyndeborough hasn't had much luck against Sunapee recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Warriors will head out to take on the Lakers at 4:00 p.m. Wilton-Lyndeborough has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Wilton-Lyndeborough came up short against Mascenic Regional and fell 14-9. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Sunapee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hinsdale.

Sunapee's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Wilton-Lyndeborough was able to grind out a solid win over Sunapee when the teams last played back in April, winning 13-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
