Basketball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Eisenhower and Andover squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Eisenhower had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Andover Trojans 56-18. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Leading Andover to victory were Aliyah Green and Bella Bouddhara. Green dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds, while Bouddhara went 6-for-11 on her way to 16 points. The dominant performance also gave Green a new career-high in blocks (four). Asiah Sullivan was another key player, putting up ten points.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Andover, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.

Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andover, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bishop Carroll's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
