Basketball Recap: Steubenville Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Steubenville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tri-Valley Scotties by a score of 73-60.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Steubenville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Taylor, who went 8-for-18 on his way to 20 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Taylor a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Aiden Davis, who went 6-for-12 en route to 17 points.

Steubenville pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tri-Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 19-5 record.

Coming up, Steubenville will be taking part in a tournament against Miami Trace at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Miami Trace will roll in looking for their 24th straight victory, something Steubenville surely won't give up without a fight. Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
