They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 79-78 to the Patriots. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (72), the Titans still had to take the loss.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Jayden Pringle and Calvin Miller. Miller had a great game and posted 38 points. Meanwhile, Pringle was balling out in the loss, going 12-for-23 on his way to 37 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists.

Meanwhile, Mintz Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The contest between the Lions and Liberty Christian Academy didn't end well, with the Lions falling 44-28.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Mintz Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
