Basketball Recap: Casey County Comes Up Short

Casey County was the 64-60 winner over Garrard County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Casey County Rebels might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-60 to the Garrard County Golden Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Casey County's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Garrard County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Casey County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-41 defeat against West Jessamine on the 31st. As for Garrard County, they will challenge Somerset on Monday.
