Basketball Recap: Stockton Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Stockton faced off against Miller on Tuesday. The Stockton Tigers fell 51-44 to the Miller Cardinals. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Stockton's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 15-7. As for Miller, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Stockton and Miller should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Stockton will square off against Ash Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 181 places (169 vs. 350). Similarly, Miller (ranked 192nd) will meet Greenfield (ranked 528th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
