Volleyball Recap: Howard Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Howard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Southside Seahawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Howard was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Southside work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-24, 25-14.

Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Southside, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howard will head out to square off against Youngsville Academy Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southside, they will venture away from home to face off against Lejeune at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
