Softball Recap: Payton College Prep Grizzlies vs. Trinity Blazers

After losing to Trinity the last time they met, Payton College Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Grizzlies walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Blazers on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Grizzlies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Johannah Kimbler made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
