The Jonathan Alder Pioneers waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 54-27 win over Kenton Ridge on the road. That looming 54-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Jonathan Alder yet this season.

Despite the defeat, Kenton Ridge saw an underclassman step up: Summer Swords scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 37% of Kenton Ridge's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyric Wilke, who scored five points.

Jonathan Alder's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Kenton Ridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Cedarville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kenton Ridge in Ohio (Cedarville is ranked 331st, while Kenton Ridge is ranked 706th).
