Football Recap: Cedar Ridge Piles Up the Points Against South Side

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Subiaco Academy, Cedar Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-26 win over the South Side Hornet. The high-scoring effort was just what the Timberwolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Cedar Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Side, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Ridge will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Side, they will challenge Rose Bud at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornet will be up against the Ramblers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
