Baseball Recap: Latin Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Patrick on Monday, Latin came back down to earth. The Romans fell just short of the Westminster Christian Warriors by a score of 6-4 on Thursday.

Drew Lufrano was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Westminster Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12-1 record this season.

Latin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-8 victory against Francis W. Parker on the 21st. As for Westminster Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-2 win against Richards on the 22nd.
