Soccer Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem was the 3-1 winner over Richland County when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Salem have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Salem and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Richland County, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Salem wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Wesclin on the 14th. Hopefully Richland County paid attention to the Wildcats' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
