Soccer Game Preview: Seaholm vs. Seaholm/Groves

Seaholm will square off against Seaholm/Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seaholm's last seven matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, neither Seaholm nor Troy could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Seaholm/Groves was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Berkley. While losing is never fun, Seaholm/Groves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 181st, while Berkley are ranked 26th).

With that draw, Seaholm's record moves to 4-2-2. As for Seaholm/Groves, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Seaholm skirted past Seaholm/Groves 1-0 when the teams last played on April 3rd. Does Seaholm have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seaholm/Groves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
