Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Friday, Cornerstone Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 50-40 to the Shreveport HomeSchool Sports Force on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Force apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Despite the loss, Cornerstone Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Ryston McNaughton, who posted 26 points and three steals. The matchup was McNaughton's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Brendan Newton also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
