Volleyball Recap: Goodwin Tech Comes Up Short

Goodwin Tech lost against Windham RVT back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gladiators fell just short of the Mighty Tigers by a score of 3-2. While the Gladiators didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mighty Tigers 25-21 in the first set.

Goodwin Tech actually scored more points across those five sets (104-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 10-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Goodwin Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Windham RVT, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goodwin Tech will square off against Comp Sci at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Windham RVT, they will take on Wheeler at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
