Baseball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee lost against Roger Bacon on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Braves might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-2 to the Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Roger Bacon, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-12.

Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roger Bacon, they will take on Jonathan Alder at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
