Softball Recap: Honeoye Comes Up Short

Honeoye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alfred-Almond Eagles. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 18-5 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Honeoye's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Alfred-Almond, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Honeoye nor Alfred-Almond have any future games scheduled.
