Basketball Game Preview: Dothan Wolves vs. JAG Jaguars

Dothan hasn't had much luck against JAG recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Dothan Wolves will welcome the JAG Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. JAG took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Dothan, who comes in off a win.

Dothan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Enterprise, who was ranked 24th at the time (Dothan was ranked fifth). Dothan escaped with a win on Tuesday against Enterprise by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. The 52-point effort marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, JAG was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against Enterprise, falling 60-33.

Dothan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for JAG, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-21.

Things could have been worse for Dothan, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-40 loss to JAG in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of JAG's JaMicah Adair, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 24 points.
