Stewarts Creek is a perfect 3-0 against Cookeville since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Hawks will head out on the road to square off against the Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Stewarts Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Smith County and fell 5-3.

Creek Wood typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Cookeville proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Red Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

Cole Teeters was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Cookeville's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Stewarts Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-14 record this season.

Everything went Stewarts Creek's way against Cookeville when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Stewarts Creek made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
