Basketball Recap: Chisholm Takes a Loss

Chisholm lost against Moose Lake/Willow River back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chisholm Bluestreaks fell 70-59 to the Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels.

Chisholm's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Moose Lake/Willow River, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Chisholm is taking a road trip to challenge Ely at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ely knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 21 games -- so hopefully Chisholm likes a good challenge. As for Moose Lake/Willow River, they will host Two Harbors at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
