The Edon Bombers will square off against the Wauseon Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Edon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Edon barely beat Camden-Frontier the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bombers put the hurt on the Redskins with a sharp 12-1 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bombers considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Kyler Sapp was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Edon is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-6 otherwise. Sapp was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Edon got a big performance out of Braedyn Wehrle, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Christian Owens, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Edon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Wauseon came up short against Central Catholic on Thursday, falling 12-2. The Indians have struggled against the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Edon is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Wauseon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
