There's no place like home for Caro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past the Algonac Muskrats 3-2.

Mark Warren tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Caro's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Xander Grice, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Caro is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Algonac, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Caro will have a chance to go back-to-back against Algonac: the pair will be back at it again later today.
