Volleyball Recap: East Lansing Takes a Loss

East Lansing lost against Ionia back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

Ari Johnson paced East Lansing's offense, picking up four kills. Johnson got some help from Kennedy Thomas and her eight assists. Stella Dimaggio and Sole Flores-Woods kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

East Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Ionia, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

East Lansing has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Johns on the 4th. As for Ionia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lansing Catholic on the 4th.
