Football Game Preview: St. Pius X Lancers vs. Cuba Wildcats

The St. Pius X Lancers will face off against the Cuba Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cuba took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Pius X, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, St. Pius X got the win against St. James by a conclusive 28-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Meanwhile, Cuba was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against Herculaneum, falling 50-20.

Cuba's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Pius X, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

St. Pius X was able to grind out a solid win over Cuba in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 27-14. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
