Basketball Recap: Winneconne Takes a Loss

Winneconne lost against New London back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Winneconne Wolves were dealt an 89-61 defeat at the hands of the New London Bulldogs. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Winneconne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for New London, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Winneconne won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mayville at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Winneconne knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Mayville likes a good challenge. As for New London, they and Classical will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
