Baseball Recap: Westbrook Takes a Loss

Westbrook fell victim to Cheverus and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Stags. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Blazes in their meetings with the Stags: they've now lost three in a row.

Westbrook's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cheverus, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westbrook will face off against rival Kennebunk at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cheverus is set to take on their familiar foe Scarborough at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Stags 3, the Red Storm 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
