Bishop Maginn's Jaushiir Weaver recorded the longest rushing play in Section 2 A - Southeast this season in his game against Gloversville last week. Weaver's team lost to the Huskies/Dragons as he sprinted for 53 yards on the play and finished with 138 in all.

Averill Park extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Mohonasen, 40-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Bishop Maginn's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Griffins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Neiko Bianchino has thrown for 719 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Jeremy Nixon has 16 catches for 318 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Averill Park takes on second place Troy.

Bishop Maginn fell to Gloversville 49-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Weaver was a bright spot for Joseph Grasso's team, as he ran for 138 yards in the defeat.
