Basketball Recap: Fairview Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McDowell, Fairview was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 45-39 W over the Slippery Rock Rockets. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Fairview pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Slippery Rock, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Fairview Tigers challenge the Northwestern Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Slippery Rock, they will host Mercyhurst Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mercyhurst Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season.
